Tips : How to Feel Energized During Ramadhan Month

by - June 15, 2017

Hello,

My muslim friends and also, those who are interested!

So, as we all know we are having ramadhan month now, which is the month we have been waiting for for a whole year. Yeay!

Sure, fasting from Subh to Maghrib can lower our mood and make us sometimes lazy. but, worry not!

Here I am with some hopefully useful tips that can be performed during Ramadhan.

1. Say never to skip sahur

I know it can be torturing for a carnivore, like me (Source : Off the grid news)

Probably all you guys want to say : BOOHOOO WE ALL KNEW THAT ALREADY

But seriously, as it is sunnah to us, have a meal as close as possible to Subuh. and during that meal, let us take a moment to consider eating veggies and fruits because it is full of fiber, therefore can (kind of) postpone your hunger until later time of the day

2. Drink plenty of water

Eventhough it's clearly important to drink plenty of water, not only on fasting month, it is very crucial to do in ramadhan. Especially after eating those fatty curry foods. This fat results in thirstiness and would make you desire for drinks whole day.

Therefore, it is highly recommended to drink plenty of water, especially warm/hot ones. Because, the high temperatured water could rinse your throat and mouth from fat residue of your foods. Hence, you will feel minimal thirst during the day.

3. Move around

Even I do the stretching guys (Source : Pinterest)

Lets not get stuck on our bed or chair, shall we? Because obviously the longer time we spend laying on our cozy bed the less we would feel energized. Move around, even if it is just walking from room to room. Perform small exercise or stretching. Dont be lazy and dont make ramadhan as an excuse for you to be that.

4. Socialize

TOTALLY relatable

Seriously, having a chat with someone would greatly help you. But remember to NEVER ghibah (gossip) ahhaha. sure there are many topics out there you could use to have a conversation with someone.

However, I just want to softly remind you that, your breath is probably way stinkier than it usually is. So, make sure you brush your teeth after having meals and also wash your mouth using mouthwash (duh) whose no alcohol contain okay? Fresh breath and interesting topic would be a great combo to socialize with others! :D

5. Good Night Sleep

Me too, Sherlock. Me too.

Okay I know it is Ramadhan and it's time to actually perform many prayers and quran reading especially at night. But, dont forget to balance that out by having a high quality sleep. Stay away from your cellphone at night. Try to have as much sleeping time as possible. Or, even if you dont get enough sleep at night, try to sneak a 15 minutes nap (or even more) during your office/school break time in order to refresh yourself.

So those are five tips I have been (trying to) perform this Ramadhan. Hope it helps you during Ramdhan too! :D

Wassalamualaikum!

Love,

Rach
